Edinburgh-based sound artist Matthew Collings contributes to the FatCat Demoplayer with his textural and melodic music. His compositions include a wide range of instrumentation, from guitars, piano, organ and vocals to white noise, percussion, found sound and field recordings, theremin, brass and strings.

Having previously released several albums in the US, UK and in Japan under the name Sketches for Albinos, Matthew Collings is now drawing attention for his live performance, and musical contribution to films and installations.

'Routine' is taken from a full-length album, 'Splintered Instruments', produced by Bedroom Community's Ben Frost, and recorded at Reykjavik's famed Greenhouse Studios.
