Tarran The Tailor

"The Tailor has been a solo project for the last fifteen years, with all instruments and production by myself , Tarran Gabriel. But with this latest album, ' the Salt ', I chose to work with some of the amazing friends i have around, and that has added some precious things to the mix.

On this song , the title track, the trumpets were played by my good friend jackmandu. It was a very special moment, as he took me to his favorite place to play, a tunnel under the bridge, down by the water. The natural reverb was majestic, perfect for the track. Of course, a man came out and told us to stop, as he lived next door (and it was 3 in the morning!), but he let us do one more take... and that was this one.

I wrote this song as an ode to the Sea, the Storm, and the one waiting on the shore, for the Sailor to come home. " (Tarran The Tailor, 2011).
