Day Lineal

The rhythmical clatterings and chimes of Day Lineal’s music are created both instrumentally and with the addition of field recordings. Percussive sounds and melodies are captured on Dictaphones and played back in unison with accompaniment from prepared guitar, bass and more percussion. At times sounding like a lo-fi Gamelan Orchestra, London’s Day Lineal craft snippets of vaguely recognisable sounds that fade in and out, leaving ghostly imprints that continue to echo long after the music ends.
